1. Emory FIRST should automatically identify and merge duplicate records for publications that come in from multiple sources. To manually merge records, add them to the workspace using the workspace icon on each record. Only claimed records can be merged.
2. After adding the records, navigate to the work space under the Tools column in the profile menu accessible by clicking the three-line menu icon in the upper left corner.
3. Select the records to merge and use “Join.” Only two record may be joined at a time.
