Emory FIRST Publications Guide

1. Use your web browser to log into https://profiles.emory.edu
2. Enter your Emory University Network ID (NetID) and password and select ‘Login’

Users with a Healthcare ID may initially get an error when logging in. Please close any Healthcare login pages and start with a fresh browser when using Emory FIRST.

Note: Faculty Profiles are created via an automated feed from Emory HR data. All current faculty are listed in Emory FIRST with no sign up necessary. Early start or pre-start faculty as well as staff, student, and fellow profiles are not currently available.

The Emory FIRST profile display and claimed publications are listed on the SoM webpages as provided here.

To add a picture or make edits to your faculty research overview, appointments, or education information click "Edit your profile" to populate the relevant information.

To add credentials after your name or any other corrections to your display name visit your profile in the HR self-service portal: https://hrprod.emory.edu.

• Then select the "Personal Information" box
• Click on the "Preferred Name" box
• Update your display name to desired format or appearance

The default summary tiles and presentation order can be modified by clicking on the display settings icon in the lower left corner. Note that the publications tile call also be toggled to display one of two summaries. The first is numeric list of record types and the second a graph distribution of claimed records by year.
