Emory FIRST Publications Guide

Search Settings MUST be properly enabled for the system and reported metrics to function properly. Default search settings are generally insufficient to capture all relevant publications.

1. From the “Menu” icon shown with three lines in the upper left corner, select “Name-based Search” under the Settings column.

2. Update all possible published name variants.

3. Click “Save” at the bottom of the page after you have updated your search settings.

INCLUDE ALL NAME VARIATIONS: Include all variations under which the author has published or may appear on records, such as:

To see results immediately, click ‘Run My Searches’.
