Ralph McGill

Often referred to as the "Fourth Estate" of government, journalism is an important part of understanding the modern political era. Rose Library holds the collections of many influential journalists, including Ralph McGill and Elmo Israel Ellis. This guide also includes the records of news organizations, such as Newsweek, which operates an Atlanta bureau. Use this guide to explore the world and impact of journalism, and to better understand how it interpreted and influenced modern politics.
