Accessibility Equipment
We have a small collection of items that are available to all patrons who visit. These items are for accessing the Audio/Visual collection onsite at the Robert W. Woodruff Library:
Headphones
The library currently offers two brands of over-the-ear stereo headphones: Schoolmate and Panasonic. The Schoolmate headphones are older models that offer volume control on the headset itself, the Panasonic model is not adjustable on the headset, but is lighter weight. If you require Mono Headphones, rather than Stereo, one Telex Mono headphone set is also available. Please specify that you need the mono set rather than stereo at the Woodruff Library service desk.
Circulation period: 3-hour loan, library-use only, no renewals
Overdue Fines: $1.00 per hour
Headphone Adapters
The library offers several headphone adapters. 1/8th inch to 1/4 inch, 1/4 inch to 1/8th inch and dual 1/4th inch to 1/4th inch "splitter" adapters.

Remote Controls for each of the audio/visual carrels are also available upon request.

Additional Accessories
The majority of our 3-hour collection circulates to current Emory faculty, staff, and students ONLY.

For Mobile Devices
The library currently offers two USB cables: Thunderbolt (for iPhones 5-12), Micro-USB (for most android devices). Wall adapters circulate separately.
Portable Phone Charger
This portable charger features both Type-C and Lightning connections. The dual connectors allow for fast and convenient charging of smartphones, tablets, and other gadgets.
Laptop Power Supply
The library currently offers three laptop adapters: Magsafe II (MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, late 2012 - 2015), USB-C, MagSafe 3 (14-inch,16-inch MacBook Pro, 2021 or later.)
Calculators
TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator (Library Use Only)
The TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator is intended for use in the library only. The library only circulates the calculator itself, not any accompanying cables.
Each calculator comes with its protective cover.

User Manual:
As a courtesy for exams that do not allow graphing calculators, the library also has a small collection of TI-36x Pro solar scientific calculators that can be checked out for up to three days at a time. Please see the Accessories (External Circ) tab for more information.
3D Glasses Set
The library currently offers one set of four glasses that are linked to the Samsung TV in the Learning Commons on the main level (2nd floor) of the Woodruff Main Library Building.
This set comes with 4 pairs of battery-operated 3D glasses in a box, each pair of glasses is 3 separate pieces (the glasses and 2 ear pieces).
