Equipment Collections at Emory

The Audio/Visuals Collection at the Robert W. Woodruff Library is a pool of audio visuals equipment, readily available for the Emory community.

Woodruff Library Equipment Borrowing

Equipment is available on a first come, first served basis at the Level 2 Library Service Desk in the Robert W. Woodruff Library.

The Library Service Desk is located on Level 2 of the Robert W Woodruff Library Building. The Woodruff Library houses the primary circulating equipment collection for Emory and also provides video, audio, print, and e-resources to assist with research at Emory.

PA systems and Screens

Portable Screens and PA systems including microphones, cables, speakers, and auxiliary cords, are available for checkout first come first served in the Emory Student Center at the Welcome Desk.

Multimedia Production

Located on Level 4 of the Woodruff Library, the MediaLab provides assistance, resources, and technology for graphic design, video, audio, and  image post production, web development, and 3D modeling.

Digital Project Consult and Collaboration

The Emory Center for Digital Scholarship (ECDS) is located on the third floor of the Woodruff Main Library building and provides consulting expertise, project coordination, and a technology-rich collaborative space for faculty, staff, and students to incorporate digital tools and methods into research, teaching, and publishing.

Because the center is committed to connecting the Emory community with digital scholarship services across the library, ECDS hosts specialized office hours for some resources not supported by ECDS staff. Computing Center at Cox Hall

Located on the second floor of Cox Hall, the Computing Center combines flexible space with integrated technologies to encourage collaboration and facilitate faculty/student interactions.  Creative lighting, large computer workstations, LED display screens, reservable classrooms, and comfortable seating all combine to form a modern, relaxed atmosphere perfect for group study or just a cup of coffee.

3D printing / Makerspace

Located Inside the Computing Center, TechLab is a research and development space for new and emerging technologies. It is also a workshop space where students can use a variety of tools (including 3D printers and scanners)  to bring ideas to life. 

TechLab does not provide phone consultations. They do accept walk-up requests during their business hours.

Personal Computer Support

Student Technology Support (STS) is a free service for Emory students providing technical support and assistance for a variety of issues on student-owned devices including computers, mobile phones, and tablets.

The Student Tech Support office does NOT provide phone support.
