Judicial Clerkships Research

Georgia Judges

The Judicial Council of Georgia regularly updates its directory of currently presiding judges in the state of Georgia.  It is a wonderful resources if you are looking for judges' information such as address and email addresses.  The website is also a great catch-all for resources such as Court Forms and Court Rules for each branch.

If you're in the library, these two volumes will also have the same information, with a little bit more detail than just contact information:

  • Georgia Legal Directory (Available at Law Library Book Stacks, 3rd and 4th Floor, KF192.G46 G46; latest edition in Reference).  An annual updated directory of Georgia lawyers and judges.
  • Georgia's Appellate Judiciary: Profiles and History (Available at Law Library Book Stacks, 3rd and 4th Floor, KF354.G4 D43 1987; latest edition in Reference).  Profiles and biographical sketches on appellate court judges in Georgia, updated annually.
