About the Guide

This guide provides access to select materials from Emory Libraries in support of healthcare for LGBTQIA+ individuals. The goal of the guide is to provide the academic community, healthcare system and providers of care with information to improve services to LGBTQIA+ individuals. The guide uses the acronym LGBTQIA+ for persons who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and/or asexual. The + sign allows for inclusivity, to encompass other sexual and gender minorities. Collection of relevant materials for this diverse population is ongoing and the Library welcomes input and suggestions. |
