How to use the Library

This is a guide to using the Emory Woodruff Library

How to Request Items

You may request items from any library in the Emory Libraries system. You will be notified by email once your request is available at your chosen pick up location.

Items that are requested from off campus locations such as the Library Service Center and Oxford College Library are usually sent within two business days.

To request an item from another Emory Library:

  • Log in to your Library Search account
  • Look up the item and open the item record
  • Click on the Locate/Request this Item button
  • Click on Request Physical Item button

Notes:

  • Undergraduate students on the main Emory campus are not able to request items that are available in the the Robert W. Woodruff Library.
  • If you are a non-Emory visitor without an Emory account, you can request Library Service Center materials with the Visitor Material Request Form
