How to use the Library

This is a guide to using the Emory Woodruff Library

What is Library Search

Library Search is the search engine used to navigate the Emory Libraries catalog. It contains the call numbers and locations of all items in the Emory Libraries Systems. The library catalog contains items such as:

  • Books
  • E-Books and other digital resources
  • Journals, Newspapers, and Serials
  • DVDs and Visual Material
  • Sound Recordings
  • Manuscripts
  • Maps

How to Navigate the Library Catalog

The Emory's Libraries website is easy to navigate and allows you to access all of the library's resources. You can start your research here, get help from librarians and find Lib-Guides.

The links in the upper right hand corner include My Library Card, Bookmarks, History, and Help. These links allow you to access your library account, view your search history, bookmark various entries in the catalog, and access the Library Search FAQ.
