Subject Training for LSD

Collections

All of the Emory libraries have nonfiction and fiction titles of interest for when folks aren't studying, teaching, and researching. You can find these books in Overdrive, Naxos, all library stacks, Main Library McNaughton (aka popular reading shelves), Science Commons book nook, and many more libraries. To explore more, visit our Emory Reads guide for ideas, links, and tips.

If someone reports a title they want, librarians do accept suggestions via Overdrive and the purchase request online form. It doesn't hurt to ask.

If you have someone that wants to browse the shelves, you can send them to:

  1. McNaughton shelves near you at the Library Service Desk
  2. McNaughton shelves in the Chemistry/Atwood building in the Science Commons near the library service desk
  3. Parents looking for children's books, browse virtually or physically the oversize PZ books on the 4th floor in the Stacks. It is a small collection but lots of award winners.
  4. The easiest option for browsing the stacks is to search by a favorite author in library search then browse virtually or in person the shelves for more by that author.

All of these popular print collections are available to the Emory community and can be moved from library to library.
