Use your Emory net ID and password to log-in to ALL Emory systems
Forgot your password? Kim Collins needs to get you an e-pin so you can call (404)727-7777 to reset it
Your remote access to electronic library databases will end on July 18, 2016. Northing else will change. You can still use the same username/password to request books and inter-library loan material.
As of January 2016, you can also use this Emory net ID and password to login to the library catalog, discoverE (http://discovere.emory.edu) , or ILLIAD (https://illiad.library.emory.edu/). Please use the MAIN EMORY LOGIN button
DiscoverE is what you use for Direct Request/Delivery requests and ILLiad is used for Interlibrary loan requests (for items Emory does not own.)
To place HMA delivery requests, please follow the instructions below:
1. Log-in to Library Search, https://search.libraries.emory.edu/, by clicking on the blue LOG-IN Button and then using the Emory Users Login option.
Use your Emory net id and password
2. Once logged in, find the desired book and click on its title to display detailed information
3. Click on "Locate/Request This Item" (You may be asked to sign-in again)
4. Click, "request Physical Item," choose Institution as Emory University Libraries and Pick-up Location as Robert W. Woodruff Library (under 'Main"). **Only books with a Pickup Location of Robert W. Woodruff Library can be processed for HMA delivery. Finally, give your "not needed after" date and click "send request."
5. When the book is pulled, you will receive an automatic e-mail message with the subject heading "Library Notice, Hold Available", which you can disregard. This hold notification message directs users to schedule a pick up appointment via Curbside or Grab and Go, but again please disregard because the library will mail the book to the High Museum. However, please do read any other e-mail messages regarding library requests or materials.
*PLEASE NOTE: Only books from the general collections of Emory’s R. W. Woodruff, Theology and Oxford College libraries can be requested for HMA delivery at this time. Books from the Health and Law Libraries, reference books, DVDs, periodicals, and other “special” items are not eligible for this service.
True interlibrary loan (ILL) requests, i.e., requests for non-Emory material, can be delivered to the High Museum upon request or picked up at the Woodruff Library Service Desk.
Woodruff Library staff will pull the book and mail it to the following address within two business days:
High Museum of Art
Bunzl Administrative Center
Level 2 Reading Area/Emory Shelf
1280 Peachtree Street Northeast
Atlanta, GA 30309
A slip displaying the requester’s name will be included with each book.
The High Museum of Art user is responsible for returning HMA Delivery items on time and in good condition.
HMA Power Users are allowed to request loans of non-Emory library material through the library system ILLiad, https://illiad.library.emory.edu/.
ILLiad is used for Interlibrary loan requests (for items Emory does not own). Please login with your net id and ILLiad password, using the “ILLiad Proxies” button. If you do not know your ILLiad password, which may be different than your regular Emory password, please contact the ILL team at mainill@emory.edu.
ILL material can be delivered to the High Museum or picked up at the Woodruff Library Service Desk. To request delivery to the High Museum, HMA users should choose "No" to the last question on the Book Request Form. HMAusers should choose "Yes" if they prefer to pick up the item from the Woodruff Library Service Desk instead
