High Museum of Art Power Users

High Museum of Art and the Emory University Libraries have a MOA that allows several HMA staff to have access to Emory resources for their research needs.

Welcome, HMA Power User!

This guide provides an overview of tools for conducting library research in art history here at Emory.  Your first representative for library logistics related to the resource sharing agreement is  Kyle Mancuso at the HIGH.  However, please contact me, Kim Collins, with any research questions.  I would be glad to try and help.

Managing Passwords and Accounts

Please use your Emory net ID and password to login to Library systems, like Library Search https://search.libraries.emory.edu/ and ILLiad https://illiad.library.emory.edu/

Show Library Search Login

Library Search is what you use for Direct Request/Delivery requests (see tab on this guide) and ILLiad is used for Interlibrary loan requests (for items Emory does not own.)

Lost Password for Emory Authentication

If you can’t remember the password that accompanies your Emory net id, please contact Kim Collins, kcolli2@emory.edu

She will give you a unique epin (string of letters and numbers).

Then, please call the help desk (404-727-7777) push 3, and remain on the line for “other services,” then “1” for password reset.  Tell the person you need a new password and they will ask you to say,

  1. Your Emory net id &
  2. Your epin for authorization

They will then issue you a temporary password.  Please change your password within four days here: https://mypassword.emory.edu/sspr

Best Bets - YOU NOW MUST USE THESE DATABASES AT THE WOODRUFF LIBRARY - remote access is not possible
