Using Interlibrary Loan (ILL), you can:
You will be notified when your materials arrive (most materials are obtained within 2 weeks).
Try one of these 3 sites to find research articles.
Schedule an online appointment or email Kristan directly for suggestions specific to your research topic. The journals and research resources you should consult change depending on your topic, and I can help save you time by helping you get started in the right place. If you are looking for a specific database your advisor recommends, you can expand your research to include more of these databases or, ask Kristan.
Use EndNote or Zotero to make your references cited/bibliography. They each are set to download from the databases. The library offers workshops and one-on-one help with these tools to get you started.
1. To determine if Emory Libraries subscribe online to ajournal, we have prepared a simple browser bookmarklet that accomplishes this function. Here's what to do:
If you are having trouble, consult the detailed instructions. Or, try one of the other apps we support at Accessing Emory Digital Resources. Or, try a private/incognito browser if you get a 400-500 code.
2. Check with eJournals @ Emory to determine if the libraries have a subscription at a different URL.
3. Use BrowZine either online or as an app and set your favorite journals.
4. Check for other options by emailing Kristan, checking Library Search for a print copy, or send a chat question to the library.
To add a "Find It @ Emory" button, go to Library Links in the Settings menu, search for Emory, and click the "Find It @ Emory" box. NOTE: Unlike a library database, many sources found in Google Scholar require payment before providing full text; check library holdings of journal titles in Library Search or Interlibrary Loan before paying.
