Gay & Lesbian Politics and Social Activism in Britain from 1958

The Hall-Carpenter Archives are the largest and most important source for study of gay activism in modern Britain. They contain an extremely rich and varied assortment of organizational material, papers of prominent individuals, ephemera, publications and press-cuttings dating from the publication of the Wolfenden Report in 1958 to the present day.
