Recorded Performances

To find if we have a recorded performance of a play, follow these steps:

  1.  Go to discoverE.
  2. Search for the subject African American theater AND African American authors.
  3. Find the facets at the left of the page and select "video."

You can also search for an individual play title and the select the video facet.

Streaming Film Databases

You can find physical and streaming video titles in discoverE. To find them, search by title or do a keyword search for a topic of interest and the term "video." Many of the films in the databases below are documentaries. However, you can also check out many feature films from our collection. FOr more information on Film and Media Studies research go to the subject libguide.
