The Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library connects the schools of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center, Emory Healthcare and Emory communities with information and knowledge to support education, research, and patient care. Electronic collections, information management and analysis tools, technology-rich collaborative spaces, and a team of subject experts promote evidence-based care and interdisciplinary study and research.

The WHSC Library is located at 1462 Clifton Road on the plaza level across from the Whitehead Biomedical Research Building.

It documents clinical questions from Internal Medicine’s resident reports and faculty-led case conferences held at three locations: Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital.

The mission of The Bottom Line is to support the educational activities of the residents by directing them to evidence and background information in response to questions raised during the reports and case conferences.

The topics are determined during post-case conference discussions with the Attendings and Chief Residents. Blog content is created and maintained by the Clinical Informationists Rachel Perry and John Nemeth at Emory’s WHSC Library.

The mission of Surgical Focus is to support the educational activities of the residents by directing them to evidence and background information in response to questions raised or literature presented during the conferences.

The topics are determined during post-report discussions with selected surgery residents.
