There are many style guides for writing research papers. Commonly used citing styles include APA, MLA, and Chicago. Many journals have their own preferred citation styles; when submitting for publication check the journal's “Author Instructions” to find the citation style required. The Emory School of Nursing uses APA (American Psychological Association) style.
Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is a free, open access, easy to use software system that helps you save, manage, and cite research sources.
Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies.
