This primary source music collection is mainly made up of digitized items from the University of Washington and UCLA Archives (including the Mantle Hood collection) and includes audio field recordings and interviews, educational recordings, film footage, field notebooks, slides, correspondence and ephemera from over 60 fields of study, including sites in Europe, West Africa, North America, and South East Asia.

Provides indexing and abstracts for many international music periodicals from a variety of countries. Some of the indexed journals are available in full-text.
