The International Area Studies Resources We Developed

The International Area Studies librarians in the Team have been comprehensively selected and managed the international collections in the areas and languages our faculty and students need for their researches, teaching and learning.  The books, journals, movies, newspapers, documentaries, archives and online databases are widely acquired from the countries in Africa, East Asia, Latin America, Middle East, East Europe and South Asia in their native languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, etc.  All these resources can been searched through our Library Search.

Library Search is the main search interface for locating items at Emory, especially books.  You can search books by title, author, subjects and certain foreign languages.

You can also locate international DVDs from Library Search

The International Area Studies librarians also created individual pages to include important resources in each Area Studies, they are:  African Studies, Chinese Studies, Japanese and Korean Studies, Jewish Studies, Latin American & Caribbean Studies, Middle East & Islamic Studies, Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies and South Asian Studies.  Please visit the pages you are interested from the columns in the left.
