Using the search feature for the Puranic Encyclopedia
The Puranic Encyclopedia is a great way to do a keyword search for key figures, episodes, and items from the Puranas. You can search for Sanskrit words or non-Sanskrit text words by using the "Advanced Search" function.
For example, a search for "kRSNa" renders the entry for "Krishna" in the Encyclopedia.
A search for the text word "milk" renders any reference to milk in the Encyclopedia.
