The Epic and Puranic Bibliography On-Line publishes the work of over a decade of the "Tübingen Purana-Project." The on-line bibliography contains all entries of the printed version Epic and Puranic Bibliography (up to 1985) annotated and with indexes (Wiesbaden: Otto Harrassowitz, 1992) as well as the yet unpublished work of the second phase and the new entries which are now added to the more than 13,000 entries available from the first two phases.

Dr. Greg Bailey of La Trobe University has crafted the Oxford Bibliography of the Puranas. This bibliography provides an introduction and general overview of the Puranas, as well as detailing information on how to orient oneself to the Puranas via indices of subjects/names, editions, translations, the genre, methods of study, and reception.

ARTSTOR is an image database that features images from museums, photo archives, scholars, and artists. A search for "Purana" yields digitized images of various episodes from the Puranas.

The Bibliography of Asian Studies is a good source for scholarly research on the Puranas. The database has citations from 1992 to present and is comprehensive for AAS publications from 1971-1991.

Hathi Trust provides long-term preservation and access to content in the public domain and in copyright. It is a particularly helpful resource for translations of the Puranas from the nineteenth century.
