Lexicon Iconographicum Mythologiae Classicae (LIMC)

The LIMC is organized by themes depicted in Greek Art. Each entry has an overview of the theme, it's presence in literature, and a bibliography. Each entry includes many depiction of the theme in classical art across various media from vases to sculpture to coins and gems. Each section of the LIMC is split into two volumes, the text and the images. For example there will be two volumes for A-B and C-D, etc. Entries are written variously in English, French, German, or Italian.
