ARTHIST 252: European Painting and Sculpture, 1400-1700

his course covers painting and sculpture in Italy, Spain, France, Flanders, Holland, and Englandfrom 1400-1700. We will look closely at some of the great works of the artists Donatello,Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Rubens, Caravaggio, etc.

Getting Started

Library 101

  1. Library catalog:  Library Search:
  2. Undergraduate student loan period is 28 days with 10 renewals (unless recalled.)
  3. I am your subject librarian, for art history, but there are other subject librarians for all your courses,
  4. Databases @ Emory (prompts Emory authentication). 
  5. Workshops on Citation Management (and more!):  (eg. Zotero, EndNote, copyright & permissions, etc.) 
  6. Interlibrary Loan: Emory’s Interlibrary Loan ILLiad system, allows you to borrow from other libraries and acts as a delivery method for  Electronic Document Delivery requests placed through the library catalog for chapters or articles in our own Emory collection.
