Last minute citation question? Want help with research? Need to reach us from off campus? Ask us! You can email, text or chat with us live during our posted open hours.
Oxford College Library staff are available for remote Research Consultations via phone, email or a video conferencing software (e.g. Zoom). Use The Booking Portal to set up an appointment, and a librarian will contact you.
Library Instruction
Faculty members that have upcoming library instruction sessions will be contacted by a librarian to discuss ways in which instruction can be offered remotely. If you would like to schedule remote library instruction, please contact your Personal Librarian or fill out the Library Instruction Request Form. The Emory Libraries offer a vast array of digital resources that are available remotely. A few examples are listed below.
Use the following for streaming services: Kanopy for a variety of films including documentaries and biographies.
MetOpera and Naxos Video Library for access to opera, classical music, ballet, and concerts; Academic Video Online and Film Platform for national and international documentaries; Ambrose Video for BBC Shakespeare; and SWANK Digital Campus for Course Reserves. Contact Library Staff with any questions.
We can electronically deliver journal articles from other libraries directly to you at no charge. But first be sure to check the Online Resources on the left side of this page. Many publications have become freely accessible during the Covid-19 crisis.
You can also renew your books online–just log into Your Library Account. You will see your active loans displayed on the Loans section. Select the title you need to renew and click Renew selected. You can also renew all your active loans by selecting Renew All.
