Teaching Information Literacy at Oxford

A guide for faculty on information literacy instruction offered by Oxford library.

Research Practices Instruction Program

Oxford College librarians are happy to work with you to customize an information literacy instruction session that meets your course needs and the needs of your students.

This guide highlights examples of active learning exercises that can be incorporated into a library instruction session that is unique to your class and meets the Student Learning Outcomes you'd like to focus on. Please note that these examples are representative but not comprehensive–librarians are happy to meet with you to design a custom session for your course. For more information, visit the Research Practices program page, or contact your Personal Librarian.
