The Division's key services
Research & Engagement mission: Support teaching and research for faculty and students in their discovery and use of information resources.
Scholarly Communications mission: Meets the scholarly publishing, copyright, data management, pedagogical, open access, and open education needs of Emory faculty, students, librarians, staff, and alumni by providing expertise, facilitating and funding open access to publications, data, and open educational resources, and preserving, enhancing, and sharing the scholarly output of Emory. By fostering the open access ethic and advocacy at Emory, the global community benefits from increased access to research produced by Emory-affiliated scholars.
In 2018, the division was renamed Research, Engagement, & Scholarly Communications (RESC). Prior to August 2017, the division was known as the Services division and included ILL, Circulation, Stacks, the Service Desk, and Woodruff Library's branch libraries.
