The Center for Faculty Development offers various grants to instructors seeking to incorporate more intensive activities into their classroom.

The Center for Faculty Development and Excellence supports faculty in the areas of teaching, research, and professional development. Our funding opportunities, programs, and resources are all designed to assist faculty at every level of their professional careers in those three categories.

The Teaching and Learning Technologies team hosts a variety of workshops meant to help instructors set up their courses on Canvas. These include both general information sessions and one-on-one consultations.

WAE is a conversation among peers, people who care that they do not merely become routine performers in a classroom. We cross the boundary from routine (that daily hard asphalt of reading, assigning, assessing) to examining our practices, our values, and the intersections with our students. We delight in strolling over the boardwalk to new shores, exploring the whys and hows of our teaching.
