The mission of the Office of Respect is to work with key stakeholders to eradicate sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and intimate partner violence to create a safer, healthier campus where all students can learn, grow, and thrive. This occurs through education, bystander intervention training, crisis intervention, advocacy, policy development, and supportive peer networks.

In support of this mission, we offer 24-hour support resources for Emory students impacted by interpersonal violence. We aim to provide support; help students learn about their options and rights; assist with safety planning; provide legal and medical accompaniment; and/or offer academic assistance.

If there is concern about the student’s safety, daily functioning, or academic performance, you may want to consider making the student aware of campus support resources, including CAPS, which is located at 1462 Clifton Road, Suite 235.

If you would like an Emory staff member to reach out to a student of concern, contact the Student Intervention Services (SIS) Team, which is managed through the Office of Student Success Programs and Services.

Our team consists of trained professionals who can help students balance their academic, work, and personal lives. We provide support and resources to help them ensure they are making the most of their time at Emory and developing a lifestyle conducive to their own happiness and success.
