This Guide introduces you the related library resources to your class topic, how to find them, how to conduct your research and cite the sources that will help make your arguments. This Guide has 6 sections to separate different types of library resources and how to find them. Under each section there are sub-sections further illustrate the section topic. It also includes the recommendation to Emory writing center and how to choose and cite information. All the columns are on the left side of this page.
Getting Started - In this section you'll learn academic ways and best practices for starting a research assignment, including selecting and refining your research topic.
Finding Books - You'll learn how to find books at the Emory libraries and how to use Interlibrary Loan service to get books outside Emory.
Finding Articles - You can learn different ways to find articles from Emory libraries.
Finding Films - This section shows different formats of films and the ways to find them.
Writing & Citing your Sources - You'll learn ways to use and properly cite the sources you find and Emory Writing Center's help.
