EndNote

Access to EndNote Online is available when you download the desktop EndNote program and is required if you wish to sync your desktop with an online EndNote library.

• Go to the Library menu in EndNote and select Sync.
• When you do so, the EndNote login windown will appear.  Click on Sign Up to regster for an account.  If you have previousy registered for an account, use that login and password to sync your libraries.
  
• Follow the prompts to register for an account.  
• You can access that EndNote Online account at: https://access.clarivate.com/login?app=endnote.  Login with the email and password with which you registered.  If you register using your Emory email, do not use the same password that you use to login to your Emory email.  

The first video gives an introduction of how to sync your desktop to your online account. The second is an udpated video with no audio about how to sync EndNote 20 & 21 libraries.

This video below contains no audio.  While the Sync is being shown on a Windows machine, it is the same for the Mac.

If you do not have access to our desktop EndNote library, you can use your EndNote Online account to do perform some functions like "Cite While You Write," Capture References, etc.  Go 

Login to your EndNote Online account. Then go to the Downloads section and install the plugins you need:

EndNote Online -- AKA EndNote Web -- allows you to store, share and organize your citations so that you can access them from any computer. By installing the Microsoft Word plugin, you can cite references from your library and automatically create your bibliography as you write.
