Remote Collections Support and Access (Summer and Fall 2020 Phased Reopening)

Procedures for Graduating Students Returning Physical Items

As a courtesy we have extended all due dates to September 1, 2020 to allow for the return of materials. We are also canceling and forgiving any fines that accrued between March 11-May 11th. Therefore, we ask that you return items as soon as possible so that they arrive at the library prior to August 31.

If you are still in the Atlanta area, we advise you to use the book drops at the following libraries to drop off your returns:

  • Robert W. Woodruff Library (Directions) Book drops are located on either side of the main entrance of the Woodruff Library.
  • Pitts Theology Library (Directions) Book drops are located outside the 2nd floor entrance of the Rita Anne Rollins Building, near the Chemistry building.
  • If you are returning equipment, or more than 50 books at once, please email ask@emory.libanswers.com. in advance of returning the items, to arrange for a no-contact drop off appointment.

Please note, the return will not be reflected on your account until a later date, when non-essential staff are permitted to return to work.

If you have already departed the Atlanta area, you may self-ship the items using a courier of your choice that offers package tracking capabilities. Please be sure to include your name and contact information and use one of the following physical addresses to ensure delivery:
