Emory's NEW Atlanta Journal-Constitution Digital Program

Beginning in April 2025, the Emory Libraries was one of the first universities in the United States to offer free access to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's digital newspaper. 

Emory University students, faculty, and staff now have continuous access to the digital version of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and its online content.

Register for Emory's NEW AJC Digital Program

Follow these steps to register for online and mobile access to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution:

  1. Do you have a AJC subscription? Start here. 
    If you currently have a AJC subscription you will need to contact AJC customer service to cancel the personal subscription and inform them that you would like to establish a digital subscription instead through Emory: (404) 522-4141 or customercare@ajc.com. 
     
  2. No AJC subscription? Start here.
    Click on this activation link to redeem your free Emory-sponsored subscription to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. You will first need to authenticate as an Emory user.
     
  3. A pop-up will then appear (there may be a slight delay for it to appear) prompting you to create your account, using your Emory email address. We recommend using a different password than the one associated with your Emory NetID. NOTE: You may need to adjust your browser settings to allow pop-ups. Please see these instructions for disabling pop-up blockers in various browsers.  Chrome and Safari work the best for signing up, but you may need to also clear your cache.
     
  4. You will need to select your status as student, staff, or faculty.
     
  5. You should receive automatic access to the AJC.com site as well as a confirmation email. You will not need to re-register to access the full content.
     
  6. You may use the same username/password combination for subsequent logins.
     
  7. You may also use the same username/password combination for access to the AJC mobile app (AJC ePaper).
     
  8. Once a year, on your anniversary date (i.e., registration date), you will be asked to re-register your account. Be sure to check your junk mail in case the message appears there.

    ***AJC digital dates of coverage: Archives of the paper back to 2018 are available with the subscription.
