Public Library Access

The nearby public libraries are a great way to expand your access to audiobooks, magazines, Libby/Overdrive ebooks for tablets, streaming music, streaming films, and much more:

Fulton County Library System 

To learn about your options to get a card, visit Fulton Library Cards Information:

1. If you need a public library card, you can complete the online form for temporary access until you can make it to one of the libraries to acquire your annual card.

2. If you need to renew your public library card, you will need to visit one of the 34 locations taking your Emory photo ID with you. Two of the closest locations include the Garner Library on 980 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE and the Peachtree branch on 1315 Peachtree Street NE. 

The Fulton County Library System is open full time, Monday-Saturday for in-person services.

Library cards are free to:
Col­lege stu­dents who live on Emory's Atlanta cam­pus, which is in DeKalb Coun­ty
Vis­it your local library branch to apply for a card. You will be asked to show accept­able ID
OR
Or, apply online, then vis­it a branch to com­plete registration.
