1. Stop by the Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor

Our Reference Desk, located at the 2nd Floor Service Desk, is staffed by our five dual-degreed law librarians Monday through Friday as indicated below.  Note, this is our target schedule and some librarian shifts may vary.  We hope you will stop by and see us sometime!

2. Submit a Question or Request a Consultation

Have a quick question for a librarian?  Want to schedule a one-on-one consultation?  Use this form to ask us anything!
Submit a Student Research Question.

Use this form to submit questions like:

  • What is a preemption check and how do I do one?
  • What can I do if Emory doesn't have the book I want?
  • How can I do an "advanced" search on my topic?
  • I'm cite-checking for a journal and I can't find this source, what should I do?
  • I found an article I want to read but it is behind a paywall, what can I do?
  • I lost my Bloomberg Law password, how to I request a new one?
  • Is this a proper Bluebook citation for this resource?

Use this form to reqeust a one-on-one research consultations for situations such as:

  • I've started my research, but I have way to many resources.  What can I do to narrow my research?
  • I've started my research, but I have only a few resources.  What can I do to expand my research?
  • I've read a lot of cases, but none of them seem to be on-point.  What can I do to find cases on-point?
  • I don't know where to start my research, what secondary sources should I use to get started?
