Fast Facts -- Library Services During COVID-19

1.Jennifer Elder is available for research consultations and meetings via Zoom -- email Jennifer or use calendar to schedule an appointment

2.Jennifer Elder can provide library research instruction via Zoom and/or can create a course research guide for your class.

3.Jennifer Elder can help you locate e-resources to replace print resources such as digital articles, e-books, and streaming video for your teaching and research.

  • In addition to the e-resources provided through the Emory Libraries via discoverE, ejournals@Emory, and our databases, there are lots of other new resources for e-materials because many vendors and archives have opened up their contents to help researchers during COVID-19.
  • Looking for e-books not owned by the Emory Libraries? Feel free to submit a purchase request to Jennifer Elder and/or:
    • Search the HathiTrust for e-books:
      • On top right of page, LOGIN by selecting Emory University from the drop-down menu
      • Login to HathiTrust with your Emory username and password
      • Search for a book by title and author
      • Look for a regular access link or a temporary access link
      • Select "Check out" on yellow bar on upper right side of page
    • Search the National Emergency Library for e-books:
