CVP Scoping Review Project

A guide for Cardiovascular Perfusion students

Submitting Your Project for Publication

You may be expected to submit your project for consideration to a journal. Consult your advisor for guidance. Every journal has specific guidelines that authors should follow regarding formatting of the paper. Go to the website of your chosen publication and look for the Authors page.  You may have to reformat your entire paper, including the citations, according to the journal's style. If you are using images from outside sources you will need to get copyright clearance from the author/publisher to re-use them in your paper.  Be prepared for a long evaluation period. Journal reviewers may request that you edit your paper before it may be accepted. After these edits it's still possible your paper may not be accepted.

Find publications that may be appropriate by searching JANE (Journal/Author Name Estimator) htps://jane.biosemantics.org/ with the basic concepts of your paper.
