Need to cite a graphic novel, comic, or manga in your paper?

Since graphic novels, comics, and manga appear in many formats, it can be somewhat tricky to cite them especially as you're not just citing the writer, but also the artist/illustrator, letters by, colors by, and then the usual story title, publication, date, and publication medium.
