For current library hours, please visit our website.
Hours can vary due to holidays, extended hours, and other events.
Exam Hours: During Exam Hours each semester, the Law Library is open to Emory faculty, staff,
grad students and alumni only. Outside visitors, bar members and undergraduates are kindly requested
to use other Emory libraries during this time.
All users must swipe in with their Emory ID or present valid picture ID to enter; patrons with disabilities can enter the library via our ADA accessible gate after having their ID verified.
If you do not have your Emory card, you will need to sign in at our computer. A desk attendant will need to look you up to verify your affiliation and let you in.
This can add a little extra time to your check in, so you should generally have your card ready to swipe in.
MacMillan Law Library prides itself on being a place where you can customize your experience. Whether you work harder with ambient noise or need complete silence to focus, we have a space for you!
As shown by the chart below, every floor has different areas that are suitable for your needs. We also have areas that have more sunlight, darker areas, larger tables, stand up work spaces, and more!
At this time, the Law Library is a mask-optional space.
