Suggested Databases

AccessScience Encyclopedia of Science and Technology
Source of reference for major scientific disciplines. Useful to identify and locate primary research material, videos, and teaching material.
BIOSIS Previews
Access an index to life science and biomedical research covering pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and more.
JSTOR
Access a wide variety of journal articles in the humanities and other disciplines. Note: You may not be able to access the most current 2–7 years of certain journals—but many of these recent publications are found in Project MUSE.
AGRICOLA
A bibliographic database of agricultural literature created by the U.S. National Agricultural Library and its cooperators. Themes range widely across agriculture and allied disciplines.
Agricultural & Environmental Science Database
A multidisciplinary database for the environmental sciences. Includes scientific journals, conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books and government publications.

ScienceDirect
Provides access to full-text of Elsevier journals in science, technology and medicine, as well as selected social sciences and humanities titles.
