How do I find ebooks available online?

Once you've completed your search in our catalog, DiscoverE, simply click the "Full Access Online" option on the left under "Show Only."  Clicking this filter will limit your search results to only those items you can access fully online.

Can I still print to EaglePrint?

Yes!  Printing is available on the 2nd Floor of the law library only.  You must have a reservation and your Emory ID card to print in the library.  Reservations are available via our Seats reservation system.

Can I request materials via ILLiad?

Yes and No.  Borrowing Requests via ILLiad are still available for articles, book chapter(s), or other electronic materials that are not included in the Emory University library system.  To request items, login using your Emory credentials, then use the "Copy or Article" or "Copy of Book Chapter" form located to the left of the page.  Please include all the page numbers, volume numbers, edition and year in each request.  Also please remember, libraries cannot scan entire books or chapters that exceed federal copyright limitations.

Borrowing Requests for print books and materials have been suspended nationwide (which also includes on-campus materials located at Woodruff, Oxford, Pitts, Health Sciences or the LSC).

Is MacMillan Law Library open to the public?

No.  Per Emory University policy, visitors are not allowed on campus at this time; this decision will be revisited once COVID-19 conditions improve in Atlanta.  Access to the law library is limited to law students at this time and all outside visitors are prohibited from entering the library.  As such, both the law school and law library are available via card access only, and the library requires an additional reservation to gain entry.

Law student access to MacMillan Law Library is available by appointment only via our Seats reservation system only.  You must complete the Fall Onboarding process to gain access to the law library or any campus facility for any amount of time during the fall term.  Please verify that you have completed all the 2020 Onboarding Steps before making a reservation.  Per CDC and University guidelines, the law library can safely accommodate up to 50 students at any given time in phase one of our reopening.  Renovations are underway and additional seating is expected to become available early- to mid-September so long as public health guidelines permit.

Can I still reserve a study room in the law library?

No.  Study rooms are not available for use until further notice
